Skills

Working on university assignments, attending various competitions and working on other projects in my spare time, allowed me to develop a good understanding of various technologies as well as good interpersonal skills.

I always look forward to learning new skills. I do not like to fit a project to my skill set but rather I like to extend my knowledge to support the project.

Technologies

I grouped the technologies I often work with in three groups that I believe reflect my current knowledge about it.

High proficiency

Intermediate proficiency

Elementary proficiency

Interpersonal skills

Teamwork
I have worked on many projects in teams of 2-8 people which allowed me to develop the more field specific teamwork skills. Additionally, by playing volleyball for 12 years I also developed other general teamwork skills.
Team leadership
Whenever teamwork is involved, I like to take responsibility for organising the work whenever I can. This allows me to ensure the project is completed on time and to the best standard. I was the team leader for Blood Test Diary system, Toguz Korgool, Game Booking System, and London Property Finder projects.
Direct client interaction
I have experience in effectively communicating complex technical questions to a client who is not proficient in technology. I demonstrated this in the Blood Test Diary project where I was a spokesperson for the team. The project exceeded the client's expectations and is in the process of deployment.
Problem solving
I love solving mathematical and other science problems. Thus, I have attended various problem solving competitions in high school where I achieved some great results: golden award in mathematics (2014, 2015), creative mathematics (2014, 2015), and chemistry (2016); silver award in mathematics (2014, 2015, 2016), creative mathematics (2014, 2015, 2016), and logic (2014, 2016). I was also Slovenian national champion in creative mathematics in 2016.
Presentation skills
At the end of every hackathon, my friends and I get to present the project we built in front of judges, and when we are short-listed as finalists we also get to demonstrate our project in front of all attendees (normally 200‑400 people). Experiences like this enabled me to develop good presentation and public speaking skills.
